Removal of Stock System

1. Apply a penetrating lubricant liberally to all exhaust fasteners, and
the V-band clamp. Refer to Figure 1.


2. Loosen the V- Band clamp just after the Y-pipe located on the turbo.


3. Remove and retain the fasteners and gaskets from the flanges on the
Y-Pipe .

4. Remove the stock turbo Y-Pipe from the vehicle.

Installation of MBRP Inc. Performance Exhaust

Note: The example shown is an E350 with the engine cover removed.
For the F250/F350 the easiest access will be with the cab removed. It is
possible to remove the Y-Pipe by removing the turbo charger but we
recommend removing the cab to ensure the parts are installed correctly.

1. Install the Turbo Y-Pipe using the existing V-band clamp, gasket

and hardware.

2. Gradually tighten the connections. Ensure each joint is lined up to

put as little stress on the Flex Pipes as possible.

3. Tighten all connections and ensure they are sealed.


4. Check along the Y-pipe to ensure that there is adequate clearance

around any lines or any wiring. If any interference is detected
relocate or adjust.
