Installing the Light Kit
/ Glass Bowl
CAUTION- To reduce the risk of
electrical shock, disconnect the electrical
supply circuit to the fan before installing
light kit
.
THE GLASS IS FRAGILE, USE
CARE WHEN INSTALLING THE
LIGHT
KIT AND THE GLASS
SHADE.
1. Remove one of four mounting
screws and lockwashers in the black
bracket below the fan motor and loosen
the other three mounting screws and
lockwashers.
2.
Connect the Blue wire from the fan
motor to the Black wire from the light kit
by connecting the molded adaptor plug;
connect the White wire from the fan
motor to the White wire from the light
kit by connecting the molded adaptor
plug.
Carefully and neatly tuck the wires
connections
into the black bracket
(Figure 13).
3. Align the three key slots in the light
kit with the three mounting screws and
lockwashers in the black bracket and
place the light kit over three screws, turn
the light kit clockwise until it locks,
tighten the three mounting screws and
lockwashers.
4. Re-install the mounting screw and
lockwasher that were removed in step 1
and tighten firmly.
5. With power off , install the light bulbs
(Max. 60w , provided) into the sockets.
6. Place the glass into the light kit ,
aligning the three flat areas on the top
flange of the glass with the three raised
dimples in the light kit. Turn the glass
clockwise until it stops.
NOTE: PERIODICALLY CHECK THE
GLASS SHADE IS SEATED FULLY
CLOCKWISE
IN THE LIGHT
KIT FITTER.
WARNING: Over lamping the fan will
result in the fan lights shutting down
until the proper wattage of bulbs are
installed. Reset the lights by turning
off, replace bulbs with the correct
wattage bulbs, turn the power on.
