OPERATION
Tips for best results
Always store coffee beans in an airtight container to keep them fresh. •
Grind beans immediately before brewing. •
Grinding times might vary by amount and fineness setting. •
To ensure optimal grinding performance, allow the appliance to cool for at least •
one minute between uses.
Coffee flavor and strength is a personal preference. Vary the type of coffee beans, •
amount of coffee and fineness of grind to find the flavor you prefer.
The appliance should be cleaned between coffee and spice grinding to help prevent •
taste and odor transfer.
This appliance is not recommended for processing fresh herbs. •
ClEANING
Proper maintenance will ensure years of service from your appliance. Clean the appliance
after every use. This appliance contains no user serviceable parts and requires little
maintenance. Leave servicing or repairs to qualified personnel.
WArning: Unplug the appliance and let it cool completely before cleaning.
CAUTion: Do not immerse the base (3), or the power cord with plug (4) into water or any
liquids (ill. g ). Do not use abrasive pads or alcohol.
Remove cover (1) and grinding chamber (2) from the appliance for cleaning. •
Turn cover (1) and grinding chamber (2) counter-clockwise to remove them from •
the appliance.
Clean cover (1) and grinding chamber (2) with warm soapy water. The cover (1) and •
grinding chamber (2) can also be cleaned in a dishwasher. It is recommended to
clean the cover and grinding chamber between coffee grinding and spice grinding.
WArning: Do not touch the blades inside the grinding chamber (2) (ill. h ). Danger of injury!
Wipe the base (3) with a soft and damp cloth. •
Store power cord (4) in the cord storage (5). Insert power cord (4) only, the power •
plug will not fit inside the cord storage (5).
Additional cleaning hint:
Please use the supplied brush to remove coffee powder and debris from the appliance. •
Clean the appliance before storage. •
