OPERATION
Auto shut-off function
• If the iron is not moved for a certain period of time, it will shut off automatically:

• After shut off, the iron will stop heating up and the operation indicator (11) will
flash.
• Tilt the iron down and back to restart the iron.
• The iron will begin to heat up to the previous setting.
noTE: To shut off the iron completely, set the temperature control (5) to off and
disconnect from the wall outlet.
Turning the iron off and emptying the water reservoir
• After use, set the temperature control (5) to off (ill. k ).
• Make sure to slide the function control (4) to the dry ironing position (ill. g
).
• Disconnect the iron from the wall outlet and let it cool completely.
• Place the iron on its heel (10) on a flat, dry and level surface (ill. d ). Press the fill
inlet cover (2) to open (ill. a ).
• Hold the iron upside down over a sink to empty the water reservoir (12) (ill. l ).
• Store the iron on its heel (10) in a safe place (ill. d ).
CAuTion! during the cooling process, do not touch the soleplate (15) to feel the
temperature (ill. e ). danger of burns!
