When installing
software, error
message appears:
“Unable to
decompress file
‘xxxxx’ because of a
data mismatch
error.” System
hangs, freezes, or
Type 10 error
requires restart.
If serial number of Power Macintosh 6500 falls within the range
from XB708xxxxx to XB718xxxxx, and logic board is
manufactured by OPC, and L2 cache DIMM is incompatible with
OPC boards, replace L2 cache with P/N 661-1477. See details
