Pow er does not turn on.  The battery has run out.
 The battery is not oriented
properly.
 The battery cover is not closed
properly.
 The AC power adapter
(optional) is disconnected
 Load new or fully charged
batteries.
 Load the batteries in the correct
direction.
 Close the battery cover properly.
 Properly connect the AC power
adapter.
Cam era suddenly
pow ers dow n  The function of POWER OFF in
m ode has been activated.
 The battery has run out.
 Set the option of POWER OFF to
OFF.
 Turn the power back on or charge
the battery.
Im age is not captured
w hen the shutter
button is pressed  The cam era is in m ode.
 Mem ory is full.
 Rotate the m ode dial to
 Transfer the desired files to you
com puter and then delete
unnecessary f iles, or use dif f erent
m em ory card.
Flash does no f ire  NO FLASH is selected in flash
m ode.
 The cam era is in
BURST/EAB/ m ode
 Select a different flash m ode.
 Select [SINGLE] in the capture
m ode.
Continuous shooting is
not possible  The capacity of the built-in
m em ory or SD m em ory card is
f ull.
 Insert a new SD m em ory card.
Cannot transf er f iles
over a USB connection  USB cable is not connected
securely.
 USB driver is not installed.
 Cam era is turned off.
 Check all connections.
 Install the USB driver to your
com puter.
 Turn on the Cam era.
