switches combined with Avocent LongView®
Extenders allow a user to sit at their desktop and
access back-racked computers.

Matrix Switch
Requirement: A government analyst requires
access to multiple targets within the same
classifi cation network and access to multiple
target devices that are connected to different
classifi cation networks. This application also allows
target devices to be located in a secure data
center or multiple data centers where the various
classifi cation networks can be kept separate.
Avocent Solution: The SwitchView SC
switching system combined with the Avocent
AMX® matrix switch provides you with secure
access to three separate networks of varying
classifi cation levels. Each network user will have
three AMX user stations at the desktop connected
with a SwitchView SC switch to ensure data
integrity between the networks.
