How To Manually Save A Waypoint
If you want to manually enter in the latitude and longitude values into the GH-561 and have it
point you to that direction, please follow these steps:
1. First, turn ON your device and allow it to get a GPS fix.
2. Then, press the
button. You should be able to see this on the screen:
3. Then press the
or
button on the Confirm screen, to scroll through the coordinate
values.
4. When the specific coordinate value that you want to edit is highlighted, press the OK
button.
5. This will bring up a pop-up, which has numbers, and use the
or
buttons to scroll
through the numbers.
Click OK to select the number and click OK on the
icon to close the pop up.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have filled in all the values for your coordinates.
7. Then,
highlight “Confirm” and press the OK button.
8. Now refer to page 10 of the GH-561 User Manual
on how to be
directed to that new waypoint you created.
