4. If you purchased kit TM3420-20010, install the
shock relocation bracket (35-TM20018) to the
rear axle with the supplied spacer (35-
TM30020) and previously removed OE bolt and
hardware.
5. Install the supplied 5/16” X 1” bolt and hard-
ware to the relocation bracket The bolt heads
should be facing up.
6. Install the rear shock to the rear shock reloca-
tion bracket using the 12mm-1.75 X 75mm bolts
and hardware. Torque the lower hardware to
35
ft./lbs.
7. If you purchased kit TM3420-20013 Install your
new rear shocks (TM73215008) using the OE
hardware. Torque the upper mounting hard-
ware to
17
ft./lbs. and the lower to
35
ft./lbs.
8. Reinstall the sway bar end links using the previ-
ously removed OE hardware.
9. Reinstall the rear brake line brackets to the vehi-
cle using the previously removed OE hardware.
10. On both sides of the vehicle, check the routing
of the brake lines and the ABS wire harnesses.
There must be no pinching, rubbing, or
stretching of either component. Use zip ties to
secure these items to the steering components.
11. Torque all bolts to factory specs and double
check your work.
12. Test drive and note location of steering wheel.
13. Adjust drag link to center steering wheel.
14. Align vehicle as soon as practical to minimum
factory caster and maximum factory toe-in
specifications.
15. Recheck all bolts after 50 miles and again after
every off road excursion.
