About Country Setting in the WLAN Utility or Driver Property:
The WLAN card default channels are from CH1 to CH13. In countries, such
as US, Canada, and Taiwan, the regulatory authorities require you to limit
the channel availability to CH1 to CH11. To do so, either open the WLAN’s
Utility or go into Windows WLAN Settings (Start > Settings > Network
Connections > Wireless Network Connection > General tab > Properties >
Configure > Advanced > Country) and select the Country setting from the
pull-down menu to the country you are in.
