Steering Box Stabilizer Bar Installation Instructions

Installation by a trained mechanic is recommended.
Coat the sector shaft extension with anti-seize. This will allow
future removal easier. Install the M12 bolts from the top, then
the bearing assembly, washer, and nyloc nut.
Tighten the assembly hardware so that it is snug. Then tighten
the sway bar mounting bolts to 40 lb-ft. Make sure the inner
bearing surface can rotate around the sector shaft.
Tighten the bearing assemble hardware to 86 lb-ft. Apply a
light thread locker to the set screws and tighten. Make sure
the zerk fitting is tight and apply grease using a grease gun.

Tighten the new sector shaft nut using a 1 1/4 deep
socket. Tighten to 180 lb-ft.
The stabilizing bar will mount against the frame, then the
sway bar will swing up and install on top of the stabilizer
bar. Use the M10 flange bolts to fasten to frame.
