Installation by a trained mechanic is recommended.
4 ) Thread on the ReadyLift Tie Rod Support
tube ( clockwise ) until you can see the mark-
ing on the steering shaft threads that was
made back at Item ( 1 ). After you see them
adjust the support tube until the mark is at the
edge of the nut side.
6 ) install the ball joint into the spindle and
thread on the Factory 22mm nut flat surface
down and torque to factory specs. You may
need a small open end wrench to hold the ball
joint shaft from spinning while tightening the
22mm nut.
6 A ) Use a 19mm open end wrench and
tighten the ReadyLift support tube
( counter clockwise ) tighten to factory specs.
5 ) While holding the support tube with one
hand making sure not to move it and lose the
location, install your factory tie rod steering
ball joint end ( clockwise ) until it meets up
with the ReadyLift support tube.
lock them together hand tight while position-
ing the ball joint threaded end pointed up to fit
back into the spindle.
