Handset display screen messages
DIRECTORY EMPTY You are accessing an empty directory.
ENDED You have just disconnected a call.
CALL LOG EMPTY You are accessing an empty call log.
Screen display messages

XX MISSED CALLS There are new calls in the caller ID log.
CONNECTING... The handset has lost connection with
the telephone base.
ALREADY SAVED The telephone number entered is
already stored in the directory.
CHECK BATTERY!
DIRECTORY FULL You are saving to a full directory.
CHARGING The handset with a low battery has
been placed to charge in the telephone
base or charger.
INCOMING CALL There is an incoming call.
The battery is not installed or not
installed properly in the handset.
-OR-
The battery needs to be replaced.
-OR-
An incorrect battery has been installed by
mistake. Use only the supplied rechargeable
battery or replacement battery (model
27910, part number 89-0099-00-00) or
equivalent. To order a replacement battery,

or call 1 (800) 222-3111. In Canada dial
1 (866) 288-4268.
CALLING OTHER HS You have placed an intercom call to the
other handset.
INTERCOM CALL The other handset is calling.
CALL TRANSFERRED An external call is transferred to the
destination handset.
INTERCOM The handset is in an intercom call.
