Install fitting onto vertical post at desired height and fasten the
5/16" x 3/4" Hex head bolt. This bolt holds the fitting in place
while making height adjustments. Now field drill a 9/16" hole
and fasten the 1/2" x 4" Hex head bolt, lock washer & hex nut
(Figure 1).
Optional: If ground slopes and trusses are installed level, you
may cut vertical posts so that the top is flush with the top of the
fitting.
Now install the black post cap into the top of the posts.
