6.8 Intel® AMT Driver and Application
6.8.1 Intel® Management Engine Components Installation
The package of the Intel® ME components includes
ƒ Intel® Management Engine Interface (Intel® ME Interface)
ƒ Serial Over LAN (SOL) driver
ƒ Local Manageability Service (LMS)
ƒ User Notification Service (UNS)
ƒ Intel® ME WMI provider
ƒ Intel® Active Management Technology NAC Posture Plug-in
ƒ Intel Control Center
ƒ Intel® Management and Security Status Application
To install these Intel® ME components, please do the following.
Step 1: Access the driver list. (See Section 6.2)
Step 2: Click “iAMT”.
Step 3: Double click the setup file in the ME_SW_IS folder.
Step 4: Locate the setup file and double click it.
Step 5: When the setup files are completely extracted the Welcome Screen in Figure
6-28 appears.
Step 6: Click Next to continue.
Step 7: The license agreement in Figure 6-29 appears.
