Operating the buttons
The controls described here expect the pressing of a (selection) button to be
followed by the pressing of a subsequent button.
The next button will need to be pressed within 10 seconds, otherwise the
selection will be deleted.
The plus / minus buttons can be touched individually or be permanently
pressed.
Switching on the hob and cooking zones
1. Press the ON/OFF button
until the power setting displays indicate 0.
A short signal will sound. The controls are ready for operation.
2. Immediately use the plus button
or
the
minus button
of a
cooking zone to select a cooking level.
Pressing the minus button will set the hob at power setting 4.
Pressing the plus button will set the hob at the automatic boost function at
power setting 9 (see to the section on “automatic boost function”).
3. The cooking zones may now be used for cooking.
Switching off a cooking zone
4. a) Press the minus button
several times until the power setting
display shows 0, or
b) press the minus button
and the plus button
once at the
same time. The cooking zone is switched off direct irrespective of the
power setting or
c) press the ON/OFF button
. The entire hob will be switched off (all
of the cooking zones are switched off).
Switching off the hob
5. Press the ON/OFF button
. The hob will be completely switched off,
irrespective of any settings.
Dual-circuit / triple-circuit connection
(only for cooking zones with several circuits)
Dual-circuit / triple-circuit connection of the respective cooking zone can only
be effected after the corresponding cooking zone has been switched on.
1. Select the desired cooking level 1-9.
2. Press the dual-circuit/triple-circuit button
to activate the second
or third circuit.
The control lamp for dual circuit/triple circuit will light up.
3. Pressing the dual-circuit/triple circuit button
again will switch
off the outer circuit.
The control lamp for dual circuit/triple circuit will go off.
