Lifetime Limited Warranty

Episode

®

Multi-room accessories have a Lifetime Limited Warranty. This warranty

includes parts and labor repairs on all components found to be defective in

material or workmanship under normal conditions of use. This warranty shall not

apply to products which have been abused, modified or disassembled. Products

to be repaired under this warranty must be returned to SnapAV or a designated service

center with prior notification and an assigned return authorization number (RA).

Lifetime

The Episode

®

EA-MR-AW-RV C-100 Volume Control has a unique adjustable design

which allows it to be used as an impedance matching stereo volume control

when 2x, 4x, or 8x switch positions are selected, or as a standard stereo

non-impedance matching volume control when 1x switch position is selected

(Note: 1x position is for use with impedance matching speaker selector or other

impedance matching device). When the impedance matching switch positions

are selected, this design enables you to connect up to 8 pairs of 8 ohm speakers

or 4 pairs of 4-ohm speakers to an 8 ohm stable amplifier and operate them

simultaneously without the fear of amplifier overload, eliminating the need for

a speaker selector or other impedance matching device.

Mounting

1. Follow the mounting instructions included with the Episode

®

EA-MR-AW-RVC-100 enclosure.

Operational Check

1. After making all connections, check for proper operation. Switch the system

to the ON position. Using either the television or music, slowly increase the

volume on the amplifier/receiver to mid-position. Now, slowly rotate the

volume control knob from its minimum position towards its maximum

position. You should hear sound emanating from the speakers, increasing

in volume as you rotate the volume control knob through its twelve steps.

Select the level of sound that is desired. If no sound is heard from any or all

speakers, switch the system OFF immediately and check for open or loose

connections, wrong polarity, or shorts in the wires.
