HANDSET BATTERY INSTALLATION

CAUTION:

Use only the Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery type included with this unit. Use of other battery
types may cause injuries or damage.

1. Remove the battery compartment cover of the handset.
2. Connect the rechargeable Ni-Cd battery as shown on Figure 10.

Insert the Ni-Cd battery into the battery compartment of the handset.

Slide the battery compartment cover firmly in its closed position.

INITIAL SETUP

Before you can use your cordless telephone, the handset must be charged for at least
20 hours. See charging instruction in the MAXIMIZING BATTERY LIFE section..
