Handsfree Connection

To install the Alpine DCS-BT1 in your car, first place the metal visor clip onto
the back of the Alpine DCS-BT1, then secure Alpine DCS-BT1 to the sun visor
in your car as shown below.

1. After pairing, Alpine DCS-BT1 connects automatically to your handset.
If the devices are paired but not connected, press the Activity button.

2. If the devices are disconnected, you will hear the voice prompt
“Phone disconnected”.
The handsfree will remain in auto reconnection mode for 30 minutes.

NOTE

When disconnected from your handset, the handsfree turns
off automatically after 30 minutes.

DCS-BT1 Operation

Making a call

1. Last number redial
Press and hold the the Activity button for 1 second to activate last number
redial. (Some handset will show the list of calls.)

2. Voice dialing
Briefly press the Activity button to activated 'voice command'.

Tip

Your handset must support the ‘voice dial’ function.

Answering a call

Briefly press the Activity button to answer an incomming call.

Ending a call

Briefly press the Activity button.
You will hear the voice prompt “End of call”.

Tip

During an incoming call, you will hear the voice prompt
“Call from XXXXXXXX”.
