RADIO MOUNTING BRACKET

Bracket Assembly
In hardware bag locate radio mounting
bracket and complete assembly following
instructions in bag that best match your
radio. If you are using the AmpliVox
MURS radios, use the longest fingers as
shown in (Fig 5) and only the bottom
bracket.
Next, remove the center screw that is
holding the speaker to the frame. Take
the long screw that is in the hardware
bag, drop through the center hole in radio
bracket, insert screw through the frame
and screw the radio mounting bracket
into the back of the speaker.

Radio Connections
To connect the 2-way radio to the amplifi-
er, choose the cable that best matches
your headphone connector on your radio.
If you are using the ApmliVox MURS ra-
dios you will use the 3.5mm - 2.5mm ca-
ble which is supplied. Other 2-way radios
use a 3.5mm - 3.5mm which is not sup-
plied.
Make connection to your radio's head-
phone jack and then to the "LINE IN"
jack on the amplifier. This radio now be-
comes the receiver for this speaker.
Operating Radios
Turn on amplifier.
Turn on two-way radios.
Tune both radios to the same channel.
Adjust the receiver volume control, and
the amplifier "AUX" volume control so
that you are able to broadcast clearly
when speaking into the transmitter.
Operating range of the AmpliVox MURS
radios is capable of communicating up to
2 or more miles. This will vary depending
on the local terrain.
There is no auto shutoff on ei-
ther of the radios so remember
to turn them off when you are
done with the communications.
