3. Reliability Test
3.1 Load Test
acc. DIN EN20268-5 part 17.1.2.1, pink noise, rated power acc. Specification,96hours.
3.2 Heat Test
dry heat acc. DIN EN60068-2-2Bb +100°C, 96h, part switched off
3.3 Cold Test
acc. DIN EN60068-2-1Ab -40°C, 96h, part switched off
3.4 Moisture Test
acc. DIN EN60068-2-30 Db, cyclic (12+12h), upper air temp. 65°C, variant 2, 80 - 98% rel.
Humidity, test duration 10 cycles = 240h
3.5 Vibration Test
acc. DIN EN60068-2-6, frequency range 10 Hz to 200 Hz sine, cycle time 15 min,
acceleration 5g, 2h in each axis X,Y and Z
3.6 Drop test
acc. DIN EN60068-2-32, height 1m, in packaging all 6 sides
3.7 Temperature shock
+100°C to -40°C, transfer time <10s, duration at each temp. Min 30min - part switched off,
500 cycles
3.8 Test of max. power
acc. Specification, f=440Hz, room temperature, 10 cycles (1 cycle=1min - on and 2 min - off)
3.9 Life time test
f0=440Hz, rated power, 1000h at room temp, 500h at +100°C, 500h at -40°C
After each test of 4.2 to 4.5, speakers should be measured after 4-8hrs exposed in normal
temperature.
After each test of 4.7 to 4.8, speakers should be measured after 1hrs exposed in normal
temperature.
After each test, performance should be satisfied with spec.
