INTRODUCTION

INTRODUCTION

This Installation, Operation, and Maintenance
manual is designed to help you achieve the best
performance and longest life from your Gorman-
Rupp pump.

This pump is a 10 Series, semi-open impeller, self-
priming centrifugal model with a suction check

valve. It is close-coupled to a single cylinder Honda

gasoline engine, Model GX390PX2. The pump is

designed for handling dirty water containing speci-

fied entrained solids. The basic material of con-

struction for wetted parts is aluminum, with ductile

iron impeller and steel wearing parts.
