Safety Instructions

Read all the safety warnings and instructions before using the appliance. Failure to
follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/ or serious
injury. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference. The term “power tool”
refers to the mains operated appliance.

Work area safety

Keep the work area clean and well lit at all times, cluttered or dark areas present
a safety hazard.

Do not operate the appliance in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or
dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.

Ensure that bystanders and children are kept away from the work area while
using the appliance.

Electrical safety

The electrical outlet must be equal to or greater than that of the appliance.

Never modify the plug in anyway.

Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified
plugs and matching outlets will reduce the risk of electric shock.

Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators,
ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shocks occurring if
your body earthed or grounded.

Do not use the appliance in wet conditions.

Refrain from carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep the cord away
from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords will
increase the risk of an electric shock occurring.

When operating the appliance use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use.
This will reduce the risk of electric shocks from occurring.
