TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Noise or sound
distorted on FM
broadcasts.
Station not tuned properly for
AM or FM Return the AM or FM broadcast
station.
FM: Rod antenna is not ex-
tended. Extend rod antenna.
AM: Unit is not positioned
correctly. Rotate unit until best reception is
obtained.
FM no sound
Function Selector is not at
RADIO mode. Set Function selector to RADIO.
Volume at minimum. Increase Volume.
Disc can not play.
Function Selector is not at
DVD mode. Set Function Selector to DVD.
CD is not installed or installed
incorrectly. Insert CD with lable side facing
up.
Disc is inserted
but player skips
over spot and will
not play.
Disc inserted upside down. Insert disc properly.
Disc is dirty. Clean disc.
Disc is non-standard. Use correct disc.
No power
Player doesn’t connect to the
power plug. Insert the power plug securely
into the power outlet.
Function Selector is not at ON
mode. Check if the ON/OFF button on
the back of the player is set to
ON.
The battery in the player is
low. Replace the battery.
