Using your Hand blender
1.
Attach the blender (8) shaft to the motor (4) by lining up the arrows, then
turning the shaft counter-clockwise.
2.
Place food in the measuring beaker (6) or another suitable container (the
blender shaft can be used directly in a pan, but be careful with non-stick
coatings). For the most consistent results, food should be processed in small
quantities.
3.
Set the variable speed regulator on the top of the blender (1) to the
appropriate speed setting.
4.
Place blender shaft (8) in to the desired container, then plug hand blender
into the wall outlet.
5.
Hold the unit firmly, then press the on/off switch (2). Move the blender
slowly up, down and from side to side to mix the food thoroughly.
Note: The unit should not be operated for more than one minute consecutively
without stopping. When pureeing food, it is important to use enough liquid (juice,
milk or cream, broth, etc.) to produce a smooth mixture. Adjust the texture and
consistency of the mixture by adding more liquids or soft solids.
Caution: Always unplug the blender after use. Keep the blender out of the reach of
children.
