ON AND OFF CONTROL
The chopper can be used in two ways.
SAFETY SYSTEM FOR IMMEDIATE MOTOR SHUTDOWN
A safety system stops the appliance from functioning if the following accessory is not properly assembled:

MAXIMUM WORKING QUANTITIES AND TIMES
During processing, check you don’t go over the maximum level shown on the container marked
. In particular, for very hard
food, put smaller quantities of food in the container
e and carry out the operation several times. After 30 seconds of pulse action or
continuous processing, leave the appliance to cool down for at least 2 minutes. After 5 continuous processing cycles, leave it to cool
down for at least 30 minutes.

MINI-CHOPPER
- Fit the blade
c onto the container’s pin d [Fig A].
- Put the solid ingredients cut into small pieces in the container, distribute them evenly and make sure you don’t go over the maximum
level indicated.
- Insert the plug in the socket.
- Fit the protection cover
b in its seat inside the container [Fig B].
- Place the motor unit on the container [Fig C].
- Press down on the motor unit
a and operate the appliance at continuous or pulse action depending on the processing that you wish
to carry out [Fig D].
- Keep an eye on the mix and continue processing until you obtain the desired result.
- Release the motor unit
a to turn off the appliance and wait until the blade c stops before lifting the motor unit a and protection
cover
b.
Warning:
- For safety reasons, you cannot use the appliance without correctly fitting the protection cover b.
CLEANING
- Disconnect the appliance plug from the socket.
- Clean the motor unit and the cord with a damp and well-wrung sponge.
- All the accessories can be washed:
- by hand: wash with water and detergent. Handle the stainless steel blades c with care to avoid getting cut or damaging the blades.
After washing, rinse and dry them thoroughly.
- in the dishwasher: make sure that the water does not exceed the maximum temperature of 60° C.
DISMANTLING
- Disconnect the appliance plug from the socket and follow the assembly sequence in exactly the opposite order, removing one piece
at a time.
Warning:
- Never immerse the motor body a, the cable f and the plug in water.
- Do not use this accessory for chopping: frozen or raw meat, candied products, gummy sweets, cheese rind and inedible
parts of foodstuffs (e.g. meat and fish bones, nut kernels, etc.).
- Do not use this appliance with liquid foods alone.
