Assigning Hot Spare drive
A hot spare is a hard disk drive that automatically replaces any failed drive
in a RAID volume, and can subsequently be used to rebuild the RAID
volume.

Select Array Configuration Utility option.

Select Add/Delete Hotspare.

The screen displays Select drives to assign Spare.

Select desired hard drive disk and then press <INS> to add it in
Assigned Hotspare drives
area.

Press <Enter> to complete the selection.

Press Y when prompted by "Do you want to create a spare? (Yes/No):"
displayed.

Now a hot spare drive is created, you can press <ESC> to exit.
