Manual for Cables To Go USB Card Reader – 29557
Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, & Windows Vista:
To install the card reader do the following:
1. Insert the card reader USB cable into your USB port.
2. Windows will recognize the Card Reader and install 3 Removable Disks
a. The first removable disk will be for the slots on the rear of the unit.
b. The second removable disk will be for the slots on the front of the unit.
c. The third removable disk will be for the slots on the right side of the unit.
You can use multiple cards in the card reader when connected to a Windows as it is seen
as three drives.
To unplug the card reader, you must click on the “Safely Remove Hardware” icon in the
Windows system tray.
Apple OS X:
To install the card reader do the following:
1. Insert the card reader USB cable into your USB port.
2. Plug a card into the card reader. It will show up as a removable disk.
You can only use a single card in the reader as OS X sees it as a single drive.
To remove the card, simply “eject” the drive.
