Using the Slim Optical Drive’s Power Adapter (Optional)
In case you use the external optical drive on USB (2.0 or 1.1) ports
other than this Notebook PC, you will need to use the power adapter.

Connecting the External Optical Drive (Optional)
1. Connect the power adapter to an AC outlet.
2. Connect the power adapter to the external optical drive
3. Connect the mini USB plug to the external optical drive
4. Connect the USB plug to a computer’s USB (1.1 or 2.0) port
