Manually Install the ASWM Enterprise Linux Agent
OS Support and Requirements

OS Support:
RHEL 6.3 32/64 bit
RHEL 6.2 32/64 bit
•
System requirements
- Requires “sysstat”, “smartmontools”, “Ishw”, “wireless tools”, “ethtool”, “impitool”
software
- Requires BMC
Ensure that your system environment meets the above requriements and the
client is connected to the main server before installing ASWM Enterprise Linux
Client Agent
To install the ASWM Enterprise Linux Agent manually:
•
Use the root account to login Linux;
•
Unzip the file, tar -zxvf ASWMLinuxAgent-XXX.tar.gz
•
Type ./install.sh
•
Choose the directory that you want to install or use the default directory /root/
ASWMLinuxAgent
•
Input the IP address of your main server
•
Wait for 1 - 2 minutes for the installation to finish.
