BIOS Setup
Load Optimal Defaults
This option allows you to load the “Optimal” values for each of the parameters on the Setup menus.
When this option is selected or if [F9] is pressed, a confirmation is requested. Select Yes to load default
values programmed into the BIOS file (the default values may change from one BIOS version to an-
other). You can now select Save Changes and Exit or make other changes before saving the values.
Load Failsafe Defaults
This option allows you to load the “Safest” values for each of the parameters on the Setup menus. This
option is for troubleshooting purposes only and will decrease performance as well as disable some of
the Notebook PC’s functions. When this option is selected, a confirmation is requested. Select Yes to
load default values programmed into the BIOS file (the default values may change from one BIOS
version to another). You can now select Save Changes and Exit or make other changes before saving
the values.
