Installing the device
To install the ASUS USB Wireless LAN Adapter in your computer:
1. Connect one end of the USB
cable to the USB port of the
device.
2. Connect the other end of the USB
cable to the USB port of your
computer.
3. Windows ® automatically detects
the device and displays the
Found New Hardware dialog
box. Follow screen instructions to
proceed.
4. Windows ® 2000 users - A Digital
Signature Not Found dialog box
may appear. Click Yes to proceed.
Windows
® XP users - A Windows Logo Testing Not Found dialog box
may appear. Click Continue Anyway to proceed.
5. After completing installation, configure the ASUS USB Wireless LAN
Adapter using the Wireless Settings utility.

Verifying the device drivers
To verify if the ASUS USB WLAN Adapter driver is properly installed in your
computer:
1. Click Start > Control Panel >
System > Hardware to display the
installed devices in your system.
2. Click the Network adapters option.
3. A question mark preceeding
the device name indicates that the
driver was not properly installed.
Try repeating the installation
procedures. See the previous
page for details.
4. An exclamation mark indicates that you installed an incorrect driver for
the device. Check if you are using the correct product and support CD.
