MRRF18 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Make sure the radio is turned off.

2. Connect the receiver module

into the “IR connector” located at the back of the radio. Power will be supplied through the IR connection.

3. Keep the Antenna wire (long BLACK color wire) straight

and positioned away from any metal and power amps.

4. The Program wire (ORANGE color wire) does not

connect to anything. Systems will be pre-programmed at the

factory and no additional steps should be necessary. In

case your remote is not working, please follow instructions

below on how to re-program your remote. When programming a new remote, the radio needs to be connected to power and ground.

Programming a new transmitter:

1. Connect the Program wire (orange wire) to +12Volts DC.

2. Push any button on the remote for 1 second and then release.

3. Disconnect Program wire (orange wire) from +12Volts DC.

4. Remote is now programmed.

Up to 8 remotes can be programmed to any receiver

To clear ALL matched remotes from receiver connect Program wire (orange wire) to

+12Volts DC and firmly press “SELECT” and “FUNCTION+” buttons

simultaneously for 15 seconds.

Battery Installation

1. Use 2 x 3 volt CR2032 coin cell batteries

2. Open the back panel by removing all 8 screws

3. Remove 2 old batteries and replace with fresh battery, be sure to note correct polarity

4. Replace back panel
