• Remove discharged or corroded bat-
teries from the apparatus.
• During prolonged periods of disuse,
also remove the battery from the apparatus.
• Do not dispose of the battery in the regular
household garbage. Follow the local regula-
tions (In Germany: BattG; EU: 2006/66/EG).
4.2.2 Changing the battery
• Remove the screws from the back of the
housing and remove the back.
• Insert new batteries, making sure that their
polarity is correct.
The polarity is marked with plus and minus
symbols.
• Close chassis again.
5. Disposal
• The packaging should be disposed of at
local recycling points.
• Should you need to dispose of the equip-
ment itself, never throw it away in normal
domestic waste. Local regulations for the
disposal of electrical equipment will apply.
