Indicator Lights
Electronic Stability
Control (ESC) Indicator
Light
This indicator light illuminates:
• Once you set the ignition switch or
Engine Start/Stop Button to the ON
position.
- It illuminates for approximately 3
seconds and then goes off.
• When there is a malfunction with
the ESC system.
In this case, have your vehicle
inspected by an authorized Kia
dealer.
This indicator light blinks:
While the ESC is operating.

Electronic Stability
Control (ESC) OFF
Indicator Light
This indicator light illuminates:
• Once you set the ignition switch or
Engine Start/Stop Button to the ON
position.
- It illuminates for approximately 3
seconds and then goes off.
• When you deactivate the ESC sys-
tem by pressing the ESC OFF but-
ton.

ECOMINDER
tm
indicator
(if equipped)
The ECOMINDER
tm
indicator is a
system that illuminates ECO when
the driver has reached optimum fuel
efficiency.
• The ECOMINDER
tm
indicator will
turn the ECO light green on the
instrument panel when you are
driving fuel efficiently in the ECO
ON mode.
If you don't want the indicator dis-
played, you can turn the ECO ON
mode to OFF mode by pressing
the TRIP button.
For ECO ON/OFF Mode operation,
please refer to the previous page.
• Fuel efficient driving can be influ-
enced by driving habits and road
conditions.
• The indicator will not display while in
P (Park), N (Neutral) or R (Reverse).
