4. Slide the data logger back in the housing until it snaps into place.
Note: Make sure that you position the housing with the right side upward: the
tab [a] on the data logger should fit into the notch [b] in the housing. If you
place the housing upside down, pull firmly to remove it and place it back in the
correct position.
5. Configure the data logger using the enclosed software.
Note: Leaving the device in the USB port will reduce the battery life.
9. Sensor Reconditioning
Over time, the internal sensor may become compromised as a result of pollutants,
chemical vapours, or other environmental conditions. This can lead to inaccurate
readings. To recondition the internal sensors, proceed as follows:
1. Heat the data logger to +80 °C (+176 °F), humidity < 5 % for 36 hours.
2. Keep the data logger at +20 to +30 °C (+70 to +90 °F), humidity > 74 % for
48 hours.
