6. Operating instructions
Refer to the illustrations on page 2 of this manual.
Note: Never use the fan without the safety grill in place.
•
Carefully unpack the fan and remove all shipping materials before operating.
•
Place the fan on a flat and sturdy surface. Make sure no objects (e.g. curtains) can be sucked into
the rear of the fan.
•
Insert the power plug [7] into the mains.
•
Adjust the tilt angle by pushing the grille.
•
Set the desired output speed via the control buttons:
0…STOP 1…LOW 2…MEDIUM 3…HIGH
•
Always switch off the fan before moving it.
•
Switch off and unplug from the mains after use.
7. Cleaning and maintenance
•
Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
•
Clean out the parts with a soft and dry cloth. Remove stains with a damp cloth and some mild soap.
Remove soap remnants with the damp cloth. Do not use abrasives.
•
Make sure no water or any other liquid enters the motor assembly [5] or the control buttons [6].
•
Keep the ventilation holes of the motor assembly [5] free from dust at all times.
