4. Overview
Refer to the drawing on page.2 of this manual.

5. Installation
• Mount the regulator in a dry location using the 3 mounting holes [1].
• First connect a 12V rechargeable battery (not included) to connector [3].
• Connect a solar panel (not included) to connector [4].
• Connect a device or appliance (not included) to connector [5].
Do not short circuit or reverse polarity of battery, solar panel or load,
as this will lead to irreversible damage.
6. Use
• When LED [2c] lights up, the regulator is in over-discharge protection mode. The
power to the output connector [5] is cut off to prevent damage to the battery.
Remove the load from connector [5] and wait until the battery is recharged.
• When LED [2a] lights up, the regulator is in over-charge protection mode. The
power from the solar panel input connector [4] is cut off to prevent damage to the
battery. The solar panel should be disconnected from the regulator.
• LED [2b] lights up when the solar panel is charging the battery.
