[11] is cut off to prevent damage to the battery until the voltage drops below
13.5VDC.
 Over-load protection mode: when the output voltage is beyond limits, the
fuse [10] on the back of the regulator melts to prevent damage to the
regulator. To re-use the regulator, the fuse needs to be replaced by a new one
with the same specifications.
 Reverse polarity protection: in order to prevent possible damage the
regulator will not function when reversed connecting polarity is detected.
Correct the polarity to use the regulator.
