Clean the instrument and pack it damage-proof

Attach the completed form and, if need be, also a safety data
sheet outside on the packaging

On instruments with exchangeable rod, the rod must be unscrewed for
transport to avoid damages.
Return the parts separately for repair.
To loosen to rod, you require a fork spanner with wrench size 8.

Loosen the rod with a fork spanner (SW 8) applied to the flat
surfaces, provide counterforce with another fork spanner (SW 8)

Twist off the loosened rod manually
