3.2 Principle of operation

VEGAPULS

66 is a radar sensor in C-band (emitting frequency

approx. 6 GHz) for continuous level measurement.

A special version of VEGAPULS 66 is available for each area of
application. The version with flange and horn antenna is particularly
suitable for measurement of liquids and solids under extremely difficult
process conditions such as buildup, condensate and foam generation
as well as vigorous product movement.
