Wiha Professional pliers have won the
"Focus in Silver" award for outstanding
design.
The Inomic pliers are angled at 23° to
support the physiological movement of
the wrist when working and thus prevent
an unhealthy wrist position, which often
leads to problems such as carpal tunnel
syndrome.
In collaboration with the IAO Stuttgart
(Institute for Industrial Engineering), a
wide variety of shapes and variants for
this new generation of pliers was investi-
gated during the course of extensive
studies and user tests. Gripping system,
hand closure forces, jaw shapes and
geometries are just a few of the points
examined.

• Better force transfer as all fingers grip
simultaneously and in parallel: comfortable
as less force has to be applied
• Angled shape 23°: for fatigue-free work
• With opening spring: Comfortable, controlled
and sensitive work
Wiha Professional.
• Drop-forged out of selected carbon or
chrome-vanadium steels: the basis for top
quality
• Cutting and gripping surfaces also inductively
hardened up to 64 HRC: maximum tool life
and optimum cutting performance
• Lay-on, lap or box joint (depending on the
type of pliers): extremely low wear and tough
thanks to use of special rivet qualities
• Cutting and other functions tested to ensure
zero-play and jolt-free movement:
individually tested
• New, ergonomic handle sleeve: optimum
distribution of hard and soft zones in the
pressure and movement zones
Wiha Pliers.
