ASSEMBLY NOTES & TIPS

Mount the remaining

side panel to the posts of the headboards.

Use 4

decorative bolts and 4 lock washers to fasten the side

panel to the posts. At this point fully tighten all bolts, taking care
not to apply excessive force, using the

allen wrench provided.

Assembly is now complete.

Bolts – DO NOT FORCE
If there is resistance when you are starting a bolt, back it out and try again. Sometimes there is
machining debris in between the threads that impedes the bolt from going into the insert, but it can
usually be cleared by gently re-starting the bolt. It may take more than one try. Forcing the bolt into
the thread when there is resistance may compromise the strength/integrity of the threaded insert.
Once it is lined up straight, most bolts will turn smoothly. The threaded inserts do have “teeth” that
grip into the wooden hole, but if too much force is applied (e.g. trying to overtighten or forcing it
when the threads are not aligned), they will strip the wood and spin in the hole.

Plastic Pouch – DO NOT REMOVE
Plastic Pouch (empty clear zip-lock bag) attached to the mattress support should NOT be removed.
This is provided by law for storage of the assembly instructions for future referral. Leave that bag in
place.

Labels – DO NOT REMOVE
ALL labels on cribs are required to be in their particular locations by federal law, and should NEVER be
removed, not even by the consumer. The Federal Regulations require that the labels be indelible, and
trying to remove them will cause harm to the finish.
