Bring the centre harness (

) with the harness
lock forward between the legs of the child.
Insert the harness lock adapter of the lap
harness (
A
) into the relevant openings on the
top of the lock and listen for an audible click.
Press the button in the middle of the harness
lock to open the harness system (
04
)
until the adapters are released from the lock.
Make sure that your child wears the
locked harness whenever it is sitting in the
CONCORD RIO.
Adjust the harness straps to sit snug on the
body of your child. Move the belt clips up or
down to adjust the harness length. Ensure
that none of the harness straps are twisted.
There is a child lock on the reverse of the
harness lock. This child lock can be activated
or deactivated by twisting it. When activated,
the child lock blocks the opening mechanism
on the harness lock.

Only use the lap harnesses in conjunction with the centre belt.

The CONCORD RIO is equipped with a seat minimiser (

) for very small
children. This comfortably padded cover element can be placed into the seat
bowl of the CONCORD RIO. Thread the centre strap with the harness lock
through the relevant opening in the seat minimiser.
The CONCORD RIO comes equipped with carry straps (
07
). Make sure to lift
the CONCORD RIO always with both carry straps (
07
) at the same time.
