3 Transport and interim storage
On receipt of the product, check it for any damage incurred in transit. In the
event of damage in transit, the necessary steps must be taken with the carrier
before the relevant deadlines.
CAUTION! Danger of damage to the switchgear
Danger of damage due to improper handling during transport and storage.
• The switchgear must be protected against moisture and mechanical damage
caused by blows/impact.
• It must not be exposed to temperatures outside the range –20°C to +60°C.

The alarm switchgear is not explosion-protected.
• Do not install or use the switchgear in potentially explosive areas.
