Connecting the FCS-320-TM series
Configuration
The detector and detection device are configured once the aspirating smoke detector has
been connected to the fire panel.
The aspirating smoke detectors in the FCS-320-TM series are preconfigured at the factory.
Check whether this configuration is suited to the local conditions. Perform object-specific
configuration adjustments using the FAS-ASD-DIAG Diagnostic Software.
Settings via the FAS-ASD-DIAG Diagnostic Software
The settings described below only refer to the FCS-320-TM-R device variants.
Fire source identification
Fire source identification is activated/deactivated using the FAS-ASD-DIAG Diagnostic
Software via the "Settings" screen. The "ROOM·IDENT" function is deactivated as standard.
Main Alarm following Fire Source Identification
For certain applications, it is practical to perform the alarm signaling once the fire location
has been identified. To do this, the "Fire alarm after ROOM·IDENT" must be activated. It is
important to remember that when this function is activated, the "ROOM·IDENT" function must
