5 When you are done configuring your SIP
account settings, press PHONEBOOK to return
to the default LCD display. The lower line of the
LCD displays your SIP number (“827610”, in
this example) if it has registered successfully.

7 Register Port
This is the port the SIP register server uses to register the V300. The
default is 5060.
8 Serv Domain
If you have a SIP account like [email protected], the
SIP service domain is voip-provider.com.
9 SIP Auth ID
This is the user name for this SIP account.
10 Auth Password This is the password for this SIP account.
11 1st Codec Sel
Your V300 and the SIP server must use the same voice codec (coder /
decoder). Select the codec you want the V300 to try using first.
12 2nd Codec Sel
If the V300 and the SIP server cannot both use the voice compression
you select in 1st Codec Sel, the V300 then tries to use the codec you
select here.
13 3rd Codec Sel
If the V300 and the SIP server cannot both use the voice compression
you select in 1st Codec Sel or 2nd Codec Sel, the V300 then tries to
use the codec you select here.
14 VM Num
This is the number you enter to access your voicemail messages for this
SIP account.
15 DNS SRV
Turn this on (Enable) to have the V300 use the DNS servers you
configured in section
2.1.2
. Turn it off (Disable) if you do not want the
V300 to use DNS. DNS SRV is off by default.
16 Send Call ID
Use this to turn outgoing caller ID on (Enable) or off (Disable).
17 NAT Setting
Use this to configure Network Address Translation.
18 CallFW Active
Use this to turn the call forwarding on (Enable) or off (Disable).
Configure call forwarding settings in the Call Pref. > Call FW menu
19 BackupSIP
Use this to set up the SIP server(s) the V300 uses if it cannot access the
main SIP server.
