Side Burner does not light.
Flame is low in HIGH position.
Flame is very yellow in
conjunction with the smell of gas,
OR
Burner makes popping noise in
conjunction with the smell of gas.
Push button ignition does not
work.
Is gas supply off?
Turn supply on.
Is the fuel hose bent or kinked?
Straighten hose.
Inspect the Weber
®
Insect / Spider
screen for possible obstructions.
(lockage of holes.)
Clean Weber
®
Insect / Spider
screen (See section “Annual
Maintenance”)
Does burner light with a match?
If match lights burner, checkigniter
(see below).

Side Burner maintenance
ƽ WARNING: All gas controls and supply valves
should be in the OFF position.
Make sure wire is connected between the igniter and
electrode. Adjust igniter electrode to burner. Gap
should be 1/8 to 3/16 inch from tip of electrode to
burner. Spark should be a white/blue color, not yellow.
1) Igniter Wire
2) Venturi/Burner
3) 1/8 to 3/16 inch gap between electrode
and burner
