Assembling Your Food Processor
CAUTION: Follow these important steps to assemble the food processor quickly
and correctly. Injury may result if moving blades are accidentally exposed. Unplug
appliance from electrical outlet before assembling, removing, or cleaning. Never
place motor or cord in water or other liquids.
Before assembling your food processor, wash all loose parts in warm, soapy water,
rinse thoroughly then dry.
1. Align tabs on container with locking slots on base. Rotate the container clock
wise until it locks into position. NOTE: The food processor will not operate
unless the container is securely locked into position.
2. Place the chopping blade or blade extension hub into place over the motor
shaft. The blade extension hub assembles only one way, and is used
to support the reversible slicing/shredding blade. NOTE: Do not attempt to use
both the chopping blade and the slicing/shredding blade at the same time.
3. Place cover on base. The tab on the cover must rotate clockwise and engage
the slot in the top of the handle. NOTE: The Food Processor will not operate
unless the cover is locked into position.
4. Insert food pusher into lid cover opening.
5. Your Studio Food Processor is now ready for use.
