BEFORE THE FIRST USE
It is recommended that the water kettle be rinsed with water prior to use to remove any
material or dust in the appliance from the manufacturing process.
OPERATION
1. Open the top cover lid by pulling the lid upwards and fill water into the kettle. Do
not overfill. If the kettle is overfilled there is a risk of spillage or spitting of boiling
water. The water level indicator will assist you to measure correct amount of water.
Caution: The filled water level must be between the Max and Min level as indicated
on the housing. Too less water will do damage to the heating element.
2. Replace the kettle on the base and connect to power supply. Position the kettle so
that the spout of kettle is facing away from you.
3. Turn on kettle by pressing down the switch. Once switch is pressed down the lamp
will be illuminated and water will begin to heat up. Do not remove the lid while the
water is boiling.
4. Once water is boiled the switch will flip up, the light indicator will turn off and the
power will turn off automatically.
5. The boiling process can be terminated at any time by lifting the kettle off the base.
6. Unit should be unplugged when not in use.
MAINTENANCE
CAUTION:
Always be sure that the appliance is switched OFF before cleaning or attempting to store
the item.
CLEANING
Remove the plug from wall outlet and let the appliance cool down before
cleaning.
1. Do not immerse power cord, kettle and base in water.
2. Wipe the exterior and top cover lid of kettle with a soft damp cloth or sponge.
Remove stubborn spots with a cloth moistened with mild liquid detergent. Do not
use abrasive scouring pads or powders.
3. From time to time, depending on the nature of your water, mineral deposits can
build up on the inside of your kettle. You can remove this buildup by filling the kettle
half way with water. Add 1 fluid oz. of white vinegar to the water. Boil the mixture
and allow to stand for 30 minutes. Re-boil the mixture and allow to stand for 30
seconds. Repeat procedure for a third time. Empty, rinse well and continue to use
in the normal way as described under OPERATION.
4. Do not attempt to dismantle the kettle or base. No user serviceable parts are inside
the kettle and base. For any problem, contact the authorized service facility for help.
STORING
Allow the appliance to cool completely before storing. Store the appliance in a dry
location. Do not place any heavy items on top of appliance during storage as this may
result in possible damage of appliance.
